You can also get a room on a day-let basis(for a few hours) if you need to refresh before your flight or you have a lengthy stop-over at the airport.

Our suggestion is to take the shuttle bus (7 min.) to Canning town (underground/ metro / subway) where the Jubilee line will take you to Central London.
Alternatively, take the London City airport bus to Liverpool Street station. Change at this point to the Central line (underground/ metro / subway) which will take you to Oxford Circus and most central areas of London.
If you do not wish to take the bus or underground there is a taxi rank directly outside the airport terminal.
A number of car hire companies also operate at the airport for those who prefer to drive.
